Penny Rowland
Penny Rowland broke onto the Canadian eventing scene in 1998 when she enjoyed top ten placings at both the CCI** Bromont International with Aberdare and the CCI** Balvanera Three Day Event in Mexico riding Strike A Pose. Penny and Aberdare represented Canada at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain, and were members of the Silver Medal Team at the 2003 Pan American Championships.
Currently partnered with Windswept, Penny enjoyed top twenty fi nishes in both the 2004 and 2005 editions of the CCI*** Fair Hill International, qualifying them for the 2006 World Equestrian Games to be held in Aachen, Germany. Don J. Good, a generous supporter of Canadian eventing, owns several of Penny’s international mounts, including Windswept.
Penny balances her highly competitive career with running a small animal veterinary practice as well as breeding Jack Russel terriers.
